Who is responsible

What we collect
- If you use the email form: your name, business name, email address, and phone number if you give it, plus the page and campaign link you arrived from.
- Anonymous page events: things like “page opened”, “button tapped” or “scrolled halfway”, with the campaign link you arrived from and a random code that lasts only while your browser tab is open. No cookies, no IP addresses, no names.
- Credit-link clicks: if you follow the “made by Reggie Smith” link on a site Reggie built, we count the click and which site it came from, with a scrambled fingerprint that changes daily — so we can tell clicks from people, never who you are.
- Spam protection: a scrambled, daily-changing fingerprint of your connection, used only to stop the form being flooded. It can’t be turned back into your IP address.
If you arrive from the Wayfare passport, the link may carry your stamp count and the name of a city. These are anonymous, used only to personalise the page you see, and never stored against you.
Why
To reply to your request, and to understand which parts of this page are useful. We don’t sell or share your details, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.
Where it’s kept
On our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Neon), with notification emails sent through Resend. These services may store data outside South Africa, under their own security safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reply to any email from us, or message Reggie on WhatsApp from the main page, and it will be done. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
